Up next from chickenon, links to level-headed predictions from DNC chairman Terry McAwful.

Hey, you know I'd be frustrated too if my opponent was LYING so obviously.

I assume you have evidence to prove your accusation? I haven't heard anything that would indicate that.

Well, lets see.... "Wrong time, wrong place, wrong war..." "I will stay in Iraq until we win"... "I will have us out of Iraq in 6 months"...

That's just the tip of the iceberg...

"I won't raise taxes" "I will increase spending" "I will reduce the deficit"

Ummmmm....those are opinions and statements of policy. They do not become lies until they are unfulfilled. So, they are not lies. Of course to you they are because you believe that you are always right.

Ok maybe they aren't lies, but they are incoherent conceptually. You can't say it's the wrong war, that you will win the war but you will pull out in 6 months regardless, or that you are going to increase spending, reduce federal income, and reduce the deficit at the same time either... It would be like saying "I'm not going to break any laws this year", "I am about to go rob a convenience store to pay for my speeding ticket", and "Laws are important".... One of these things is not like the other... don't you remember your Sesame Street?

Correct. They may not technically be "a lie" but they are intellectually dishonest.

All over the map.
Anybody else notice the fine print "Paid for....." info at the end? Now that's something important to spend your money on.

I don't have speakers at work....what was the sound? Music? Or did it actually play what was being said?

Well, if they had actually played what the Senator was saying then it might shed some light on why the President was so frustrated. Weren't you?

Thank you...I didn't even realize it had sound since I keep mine turned down at work. Just a harmless little jazzy tune...with a couple of well placed beats...

No, I wasn't. I was frustrated by what the President was saying.
