Currently, I am listening to:
Bach, the Goldberg Variations, performed by Glenn Gould
I will likely follow it either by:
Margaret Price sings Mozart (sublime)
OR
Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here
OR maybe
ENO and CALE, Wrong Way Up
Or maybe
Badly Drawn Boy, The Hour of the Bewilderbeast
or maybe
April Wine, the Nature of the Beast
Are these my five favorites. No, I don't have 5 favorites. (Steve Winwood--Arc of a Diver would be in the list if I did and probably Pat Metheny Group's first album)

OK, I was wrong, I am now listening to John Anderson's second album from way, way back. You might remember I'm Just an Old Chunk of Coal. I have been listening to Merle Haggard in the car, so I think it put me in the mood for some good old honky tonk music.

Anyone ever hear Liz Phair's "Exile in Guyville"? It is suppose to mirror the RS album to a point.

Well it took me a long while but I finally came up with a 'final' 5 list.
In no particular order:
1. The Ramones - All the Stuff & More 2. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Greatest Hits 3. Echo & The Bunnymen - Echo & The Bunnymen 4. Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Let's Face It 5. Soundtrack to "French Kiss".
That took a lot of thought. And I just bought the new Camper Van Beethoven CD but haven't listened to it, only time will tell whether that will become a contendah.....

Need to add 2 more to the list: 6. Godsmack-Awake (This one is really good to listen to really loudly to release some agression, trust me I did it this morning) 7. Sublime-Self-titled

I can't get enough of the new Jimmy Eat World CD.
And, I just bought the new Snoop CD - I love it, but I think anything by The Neptunes (produced the CD) is just awesome.

My daughter got this CD for Christmas, and I think I've listened to it more than she has.

Well, based on the ones I've been listening to a lot lately (is it possible to play a CD so much you melt it? It's a wonder I haven't done this with a couple of these LOL)
1. Glenn Miller - Glenn Miller on Film (stereo recordings) 2. Glenn Miller - The Lost Recordings (WWII broadcasts) 3. Enya - A Day Without Rain 4. Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill 5. Aerosmith - O' Yeah! (Greatest Hits compilation)
5??? I can only bring 5?!?!!?

Hard to decide but...
1. Metallica - Master of Puppets 2. Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction 3. Tesla - (all of them) ok - the Live CD 4. Disturbed - first album (can't remember title) 5. Evanescence - first album
There would be so many others, but I guess if I could only take 5.
