I am a cat person but me and my girlfriend have 2 cats and a dog. She likes dogs more, so we compromised.

My kitten (a 12 year old cat) ran away two weekends ago and hasn't come back! My other cat (a 14 year old male) and my dog (7 year old Chihuahua that is smaller than either cat) are devastated. I am too of course!

That's what I love about animals, is that they are ALWAYS there for you. My dog, Zeus, is the most lovable dog and he can make your day feel better just by hanging out with him. We watched the whole World Series together. I wasn't really a dog person until we got him but he really grew on me.

Definitely a dog person. I have border collie named Kobe and he is a great dog. I don't know what it is about cats, but I just don't like being around them.

Definitely a Dawg person! I have a 5 year old cocker spaniel. My last cocker died several years ago -- she was 14-1/2 years old!

I had a dog, 3 legs, a ear chewed off in a dog fight, Neutered, and one good eye, the other was scratched out by a cat. He just got hit by a car. His name was "Lucky"

Our little dog-child of 16 years passed away about 10 years ago, can't bear to get another one. Now we are cat people. Our 20-lb male was just joined by a 3-month old female stray that we adopted. He's teaching her to play hide-and-seek. I think she gave him a new purpose. Love those kitties.

Well, they are finches...so it isn't quite "Hitchcock"-ian, or would that be "Hitchcock"-ish?

When I was getting my coat yesterday, I mistakenly locked Kismet inside. MOML heard him crying about two hours later, and called me at work so I could apologize to the furry one over the phone. Which I did. Now, does that sound like cat people to you?

Our nearly one-year-old cat left me a mostly-decapitated squirrel outside the garage door this morning. She still gets to sleep on the bed. (Cats are good, because they aren't dogs!)

Bird person...definitely a bird person. I own an African Grey Parrot that is 18 years old (makes him a teenager because they live 60-80 years with good care). He is an excellent talker and they really do know what they are saying. He will ask for something in particular to be given to him and if you give him something else he will just throw it in the floor of his cage. One day he asked me for water, I told him he had water and he answered with "good water" meaning he wanted fresh water in his bowl.
