Remember the old Vicent Price classic, "House of Wax?" This movie scared the beejeebers out of me when I was about 5 or 6 years old. My parents left us with a sitter and this movie was on the late, late show. (Yes, I was up way past my bedtime.) The scene where the guy falls into the vat of acid and his skeleton surfaces got me so bad I couldn't even think about it for years to come without being scared.
I saw it again a few years ago, and I said to myself, "What was the big deal about that?" I was so dissapointed. Here I was waiting to be scared again, and all I could hear in my head was, "Is that all there is? Is that all there is? If that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing."
