New format - I miss my numbers

I know that in a week, the format changes BOL obviously made this weekend will blend right in and everything will be fine, but it seems cluttered to me now, with the neames of the moderators, plus I miss the numbers telling me how many posts have been made since I last "marked all read". But I am not complaining

I agree. I logged on this morning and couldn't figure out where I should start. The numbers showing new posts or new threads since the last time I logged on were helpful. I guess that doesn't seem like an enhancement to me. But, I'm not complaining either!

I know, I miss the numbers too. I know we'll get used to it in time but it's a little disconcerting at first.

I had the same problem. But, hopefully it will just take a day or 2. Good example of how change can throw us off.

Ok - now wait - maybe we can complain. Not all change is good and while I know we will get used to it, if a change doesn't make much sense, shouldn't it be un-changed???

LOL Dave. I'll vote yes to whatever is decided. I don't need to see the moderators names under the threads. It clogs up the screen....anyone else?

I agree. A simple link to a page of who is the moderator for each thread is sufficient and easy enough to put on the front page.
Or you could simply create a thread category called Moderators and list who is where in a thread and lock the category from further posts by anyone other than a moderator who would change it if the moderators changed.

Welcome to "Threads 21". As you have all adjusted to a new regulatory posting environment we thought it was a good time to change. There are some security features we had to employ. We are still "tweaking" some of the manual settings but just like the software on your PC, some things are beyond our control. We are listening to your input and looking for changes. I am sure in time that I will get used to it too!
