No just a thought for today. I think it will be a semi-regular thing. I would write editorials myself but that is not my gift. Just a disclaimer for those that would wish me to be original. No the columnist will not always be the same.

Ah, this is so true. Today, Macy's announced they will no longer use the "Merry Christmas" greeting and schools are now changing the words in songs such as "I'm dreaming of a white holiday" etc.

Come on, this is stupid! There is a place for everyone in this country!

I guess that means Santa Claus has to go away - he can't come if it's not Christmas!

Yes, by people who change the words to classic Christmas carols so as to be PC!!
I'm OK with "Merry Christmas" or "Season's Greetings", etc., I am not OK with someone telling me or anyone else that it is wrong for us to use these terms.
There is a lot of truth in the statement in the article that says something like ....they say they are offended by my comments, what they mean is they disagree..." It is OK to disagree, it is OK to be different, we should celebrate our differences, not try to make everyone else just like us.

For Christmas, I generally do the white lights outside, this year I am getting a very large yard sign that says "Merry Christmas" and maybe a smaller one that says "If this offends you, do not look."
