In reviewing in detail the reg cc requirements about recredit claim notices, it seems to me the model notices are wrong - it seems to me there should be a plain valid claim notice that lists nothing more than the amount of recredit and the date the funds will be available. The model for this adds a statement about funds in excess of $2,500 that was previously credited. That last statement seems to belong to the next model disclosure for recredit pending investigation. I'm getting this by reading section (c) Action on claims. Section (c) provides for 4 notices and the third notice is called recredit pending investigation and contains the $2,500 language. But the model notice has the $2,500 language added to the valid consumer claim. It can not be both ways. OR AM I LOSING MY MIND THIS MONDAY?
