Reggie White died this morning at age 43.

The Minister of Defense was not only one of the greatest talents the NFL has ever seen, he was one of the greatest role models as well. In a short 43 years, Reggie spread more inspiration and messages of hope than most people do in twice the time.

Well done, good and faithful servant- may others, on and off the field, be inspired to continue your work of sharing the good news of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ.

I echo Jac's comments. He was truly the definition of what you would want to be athletically and spiritually. Everyone who ever met him said he was a better person than football player, which is an amazing compliment in itself. May God bless his family and be with them as we all mourn the loss of this incredible human being.

PS ~ For those of you who don't know a lot about him, know this: I'm a huge Bears fan and in spite of him playing for the Packers for a few years, I'm still a huge fan of his.

State of confusion
I have been a Packer fan as long as I can remember, and I can't believe he is gone. He gave so much to the world on and off the football field. During the Philly game last night they did a moment of silence, but I don't think the fans understood as they cheered in his honor instead of the moment of prayer they were attempting to offer. He will also be remembered in another moment of silence during the Packers/Bears game on Sunday. It was a sad day for the NFL and many fans.

He will be remembered more than just these two days. He will be remembered every week of every season.
