I am just breaking the door down - I need my chair, and a nice cold beer! C'mon in - drinks are on me. Nice to see you again, by the way, Alien.

I am happy to pour ya a cold one Dawnie, and one for you too Devil Girl. The twins are great, just exhausting. I have basically been up all night (little buggers just don't want to sleep yet). But they are so cute when they are quiet! Not real keen on posting pictures though - sorry - you will just have to take my word that they are cute and big headed like me!

Even though the past few New Years Eves have been spent at home with mild celebrations, I have vowed this year not to go out a spend money on a bottle of champagne. I always do because it seems like the thing to do, but truth be told, I don't like it (nor does my wife) and if you are drinking other forms of alcohol, the combo can be a bad bad recipe.

Thanks for the welcome mat! Well, given the festive nature of the day, I would like to skip my usual scotch/rox combo. Long Beach Iced Tea instead please!

LOL! Rolling Rock is reminder of the college days. I think it was like 8 bucks a case or something. Now it's as expensive as the rest.

Coming up - is that different than a Long Island Ice Tea??? The scotch on the rocks sounds good though - makes me want to get a poker game going.

Yes, a Long Beach Iced Tea is different. It has gin, rum, vodka, triple sec, sweet & sour, cranberry juice and a squeeze of lemon. Very tasty! Oooh! A poker game! Count me in! What's the buy-in? Let's play Texas Hold 'Em!!

You name it, and Hold Em is fine, but can we mix in some 7-Stud. Hold em is getting so overplayed, and I have always preferred 7-stud anyway. So, we can just alternate, and maybe play some 5 Draw, some 7/27 and Indian Poker too!

I LOVE Indian poker...haven't seen that played in quite some time!
Any snacks in here? Since this is a virtual bar, I can leave my diet at the virtual door.

Coors Light for Walleye, what special brew for you Princess? and mushroom/sausage is 4th on the left BJP - here's your Coke. (and the part about saving the drink for your sweetie was as sickeningly sweet as the Coke!)

I've got a new drink for everyone - it tastes like a jolly rancher. Midori and Mt. Dew. Very tasty

Not quite right, Anon - I'm usually the one who shows up late to the bar! But today I'm celebrating with Champagne and Chambord! Want some? Is it 12 cherries or 12 grapes that I'm supposed to eat at midnight???
