Anonymous Unregistered	Nikko, Photoshop 7 will do nicely, and you're right it's way more power than you need to create a lowly avatar. If you want to make an animated avatar, you'll also need Adobe Image Ready. It's probably bundled with Photoshop, but you'll want to create your animation layers in Photoshop and then export them to Image Ready to create the gif file. I used Photoshop CS to make my avatars. I've never taken the time to figure out how to create a website with Photoshop. I know it can be done, I just don't know how. Good luck! P.S. Animated avatars can also be made with Flash or as a Quicktime movie.
