Ok, today the only guy I recognized was Tom Gola, who was an NBA player WAY back in the day. He was one of the first rookies to win an NBA Title back when Philly had the Warriors.

Nice job Anon & Michael- I thought those were the two toughest today. Knew Gola was a hooper but didn't know what team. Had no idea on Baffert.

Tom Gola played basketball (Knicks?)
Mark O'Meara won the 1998 Masters and British Open
Kevin Mitchell played 3rd base for the SF Giants, and I think briefly for the Mets

I believe Kelly Hrudey used to be the goaltender for the NY Islanders.

Anyone for this question? There was one World Heavyweight Boxing Champion that never won a world title fight. Can you name him?

The answer is Ken Norton. He was awarded the title when Leon Spinks gave Muhammad Ali a rematch. Then Norton lost his next fight to Larry Holmes.
