We provide a well-received eNews letter to customers who "opt-in" to receive it. We have a large group of online banking customers who may not know about it. Is it ok to include the online customers on the eNews list, let them see an issue and they can unsubscribe from there?

CAN SPAM rules should be followed if you do this. Hopefully you have reviewed those requirements for your emailings already.

Many online systems have the capability of notifying users with a message when they logon. If your system has that, why not invite them over to take a look and sign up for it.
