Our IT staff is often pulled in all different directions. Does anyone have suggestions of how to develop project planning for this area - websites, etc? Does anyone require requests be formally submitted? What type of requests?

Our Bank has a Technology Committee that consists of many members of senoir mgmt. Once a year, we hold a technology strategic planning session for the big picture IT tasks over the next 1-3 years. Granted, this doesn't address the day to day stuff that IT has to deal with but it does provide some guidance on the completion of big projects that involve IT.
