Dumb question here, but is the "BSA Risk Assessment" the independent autit testing of the overall program or is the BSA Risk Assessment the BSA Officer's scoping out of what the institution's currency/Patriot/etc. exposures are? Does the BSA Officer do the risk assessment? I've always been confused about BSA "risk assessment" versus BSA "independent audit test".

I was told, at a recent BSA seminar, there is going to be an interagency BSA manual issued on June 30th of this year. The agencies will offer very specific guidelines on how to do a risk assessment.

May I get a copy as well? Our BSA exam is in July.
