I am the only "ATM" person at my bank (medium sized). We have 14 ATMs 10 branches 5000 checkcards. I am the only person who answering strictly ATM questions, monitors ATMS, calls for service, processing Reg E inquiries, provides liaison to card processor, NYCE, VISA. I order all cards, make changes to card base... Does your bank have an "ATM" department? Checkcard Services? Is it OPS? Deposit OPS? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

This is handled in "electronic banking" within deposit ops at my bank.

Here is our process:

Customer Service Center is trained and has access along with Electronic Banking to answer ATM questions, and make some changes for our cardholders.

Each branch handles their ATM, settlement, servicing, replenish cash, etc.

2 trained employees in Electronic Banking who handle all Reg E inquiries, process new applications, change requests and manage the card base.
(electronic banking also handles wires and ACH transactions).
