its my understanding that the cra code is where the collateral is located. Now for the most part, no problem. But, what about agriculture loans that may have collateral is several different areas and they fall under different cra codes. we can only show i cra code. Any suggestions as to the best way to handle this type?
Thanks for the advise

I think I answered the question in your last post. First, to be clear, we're not talking about a "CRA Code" but instead a geocode (property location number) which is used for many purposes, including CRA.

You can use either the location of the collateral or the location of the business, as long as you are consistent. In the case you discuss above, it would be my decision to use the location of the business operations, verses guessing which tract to use if you've got a huge farm covering many census tracts.

What you can't do is choose to use the geocode of the lowest income census tract within the farm boundries. You are not allowed to pick a code that favors your reporting (or manipulates it).

You could also choose to use the largest parcel of land within a tract, but that would be a real pain in the kiester to figure out most often, so I'd really suggest going with the first idea, the address where the business operations are processed.

They just made me take down my old wall map.

It wasn't really good for much since it was so old but it was nostalgic.

What they don’t know is that I still have a small wall map taped to the back of my door.

I have one inside an issue of Playboy. They'll never find it there!

So whats wrong with a new wall map. It should be good from now until 2010 or so as the census tract boundries won't change until the next census.

We don't have enough walls for all the maps we have.
