We are headquartered in MA with customers all over the US. We have a customer in CA who falls under the SCRA. There was recently changes made to the SCRA in CA (about a month ago). Do those new changes made to the CA law apply to our customer? Or do we go by MA rules because? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I can't find the answer! Thanks

Are you subject to state regulation or only to federal regulation? Please remember there is also a federal SCRA law which you will have to comply with. Does your customer have a mortgage in Mass? or other Mass related loan? There area lot of questions which need to be answered here I think.

We are federally chartered. The customer lives in CA and has an auto loan with us. I realize that we must comply with the federal SCRA law, but the CA law further protects consumers. So we're wondering which one we go by?
