I have 4 census tracts that I cannot locate on the FFIEC's website. I'm trying to determine what income bracket they are in. If the census tracts exist wouldn't there be income information on them. Thanks.

Not Necessarily. Some tracts are located in industrial areas where there is no housing and families residing in the tract. The income classification is based on "Median FAMILY income" and if no families are in the tract there is no income classification.

I'm out of the office until Friday but if you e-mail the State County and Tract number I'll look them up for you when I get back.

As a brief follow up to your question and my previous response - Make certain you are using the Census 2000 tract numbers. Many bankers have made the mistake of assuming the tract numbers didn't change with the 2000 Census, but many did. I can't tell you how many bankers we've worked for that have made that mistake.
