We are a large bank 4.5 billion. I'd like some opinions on what large banks utilize for Fair Lending analysis. Is it typically done internally or with outside vender software, etc. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think it depends upon how detailed of an analysis you want to do. I've seen an analysis prepared by using Excel to document denial rates and application rates by race using aggregate HMDA data. PCI offers a software program called Fair Lending Wiz. Here is a link to their web site. http://www.pciwiz.com/solutions/fair-lending/features-benefits.asp You might also want to do a search on google for "regression analyses" and "fair lending." This may provide you with some other choices.
