Does anyone have any good tools to track new/terminated employees and granting/revoking access to systems, applications, etc... We are looking to come up with some procedures (maybe a spreadsheet) that gets routed around the different areas to try to hit everything that is necessary upon hiring or separating employment.

Thanks in advance

Our process is simply for HR to email staffing changes to the appropriate areas. We're a fairly small shop, so this works well for us.

We are a 2-bank holding company so we have holding company employees, then employees from each bank, so a lot to keep track of.

We require a manager to sign a form requesting a new employee's access to appropriate systems. Not every employee needs to access all applications--we give access only when the system is needed for the employee to perform applicable duties.

We have a new employee set up form on our intranet. When a new employee is hired that form is filled out on the internet with all the information needed to set them up on systems including which systems they will need and teller numbers. When the supervisor "clicks" submit the form gets forwarded on to the human resources department where it sits until all paperwork has been recieved for the payroll department. It then gets forwarded on again to an email group that we have set up that do the set up on systems. We also fill out these forms when somebldy changes departments or postions so that we can add or remove access to programs. We also do this for resignations and terminations.
