Visa has a program to stop recurring debit card transactions. Our processor will be using this service (charging us a fee) We want to pass the stop pay fee to our customers. I can find nothing in the regs to prevent us from charging a fee. Is this correct? (just checking to be sure)

I believe you can, but it needs to be disclosed. For current customers it would be required to be disclosed at least 21 days prior to implementation.

We applied our check stop payment fee to a one-time ACH stop payment. We also have a different stop payment fee that we applied when customer want to stop a series of checks. We plan on applying the stop payment series fee to the recurring ACH stop payments.
