I posted a question on another forum but I did not make it clear regarding the reg 9DD). So, as my questionpertains to deposit accounts and reg DD, please advise: if we wish to increase a fee for items that are not automatic, such as a request for a duplicate statement, do we still need to send out the 30 day notice of change? I read the reg and commentary and it is not altogether clear regarding my fee item. Thanks!

If the increase is deterimental to the customer it is required to disclosed 30 days in advance of the change.

No. You only need to provide 30 days' advance notice when you increase a fee that is required to be disclosed under section 230.4(b) - initial disclosures.
