I was wondering how folks collected returned checks? Do you have backoffice ops collect? the Branch? Collections? does it vary based on amount?

Most successful collection processes that I have seen are centralized. Branch personnel are notoriously horrible at collecting on anything since they are usually (now-a-days anyway) only trained on sales techniques and not collection techniques.
