For those that have on-line applications for credit cards - are you following up with a signed contract prior to issuing the card or just using the on-line app as your agreement?

We do not follow up w/ a signed contract for two brief reasons (disclosed on the app and/or in the cardholder agreement):

1) The application disclosures should have the 'consent to receive disclosures electronically' (E-Sign) disclosure which covers the Bank for the application terms and conditions; and
2) The cardholder agreement will most likely have a provision which states something to the effect that acceptance and/or usage of the card constitutes agreement to the provisions contained therein.
