I was a teller over 20 years ago and I remember being told that we could not cash checks made payable to a business. I have not been in a position to be concerned about such things until recently. I am now serving in a BSA function and am seeing what appears to be cashed business checks. Can anyone help me out here? Is there such a legal requirement/prohibition?
