We have just acquired a number of Military Allotment Accounts from a recent bank acquisition and are trying to figure them out. I have found the military regulations which govern them, but nothing about how the financial institution and allotee are supposed to work.

Can anyone out there help me?

I've read the Department of Defense regulation on allotments, but that doesn't help me with figuring out the financial institution's role in the process. Can you describe to me how you handle (your procedure) regarding allotments?
