We would just like to confirm that the UCC Article 4A disclosures (i.e. 1) provisional payment, 2) notice, and 3)choice of law disclosures) apply to business entities ONLY and not consumers. Is this a correct assumption, or are some (but not all) of the disclosures required for consumers?

Please advise.

Look at your state's version of 4A-108. If it reads like the following, then Article 4A does not apply to consumer transactions in your state:

"This division does not apply to a funds transfer any part of which is governed by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act of 1978 (Title XX, Public Law 95-630, 92 Stat. 3728, 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1693 et seq.) as amended from time to time."
