Banks are stringently covered under what they have to do to ensure, as much as possible, that NPPI does not flow freely through the internet. And, we all have methods in place, from forbidding employees to send info to big notices on our sites telling customer to not send NPPI but, raqther, to use the banks secure site, etc. etc.

Now I'd like turn to banks that have affiliates or subs that are not strictly regulated for NPPI. We have agencies. They communicate with their producers, such as Allstate...they have customers that send them e-mail messages and the ins. staff respond...the ins. staff communicate with one another via internet.

I would like to hear from banks with ins. affiliates or similar - that are not covered under strict privacy regs as we banksare.

Are you using a vendor that provides a secure site. Do you have customers that are prompted to set up a name and password in order to communicate?

In general how are you handling the increased pressure and use of the internet to communicate info that may include NPPI? Thanks!
