I am sure this is an easy question for you all to answer, but I am getting more confused as I read through previous Threads. If a customer calls the bank requesting funds transfered from his savings account into his checking account and this is done by a teller through the software system without generating paper, is this NOT a covered transaction under REG E? In this case no PIN and/or code is required.
If a customer makes a transfer from Savings into a Checking account via a Voice Response system, is this a covered transaction under REG E? In this case a PIN/Code was required.
