A customer can log into their internet banking account to complete a stop payment request. Once they completed the information they can "hit" submit.

OCGA requires written authorization to extend a stop payment from 14 days to 6 months, could this electronic submission be considered "written" authorization and therefore not require an additional signed document from the customer.

Provisions within the UCC-4 can be varied by agreement. You could indicate that such an action would be considered written authorization within your internet banking agreement.
