What are the requirements for electronically archived monthly account statements v.s. the orginal paper document? The reason for the question is that some archival systems cannot process image statments, but rather text only format. These may not look like the originals. Where can I find the guidelines to what the archived statements must look like in relationship to the orginals sent to the account holders?

I don't know that there are requirements as to how they look, but rather as to the content of the statements. Reg. E and DD are the mainstays.

The requirement is that you be able to reconstruct the statement from the archived data.
