On 12/19/03, the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act became law. It rewrote and amended the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940. A hypertext version of the new law (which took effect upon signing) may be accessed through BOL's Alphabet Soup section. SCRA.
