Must Both Signers Sign Change of Address Form?
Answer by Ken Golliher, BOL Guru Guru Bios
Question: On a joint account do both account owners have to sign a change of address form to have the address changed, or can either make the change?
Answer: Since either could close the account, it would seem appropriate the either should be able to change the mailing address. There are no federal regulations governing this issue, so you may wish to review the terms of your contract to see if it is addressed there.
