Dead Giveaway
It was easy to see that this email, which arrived this morning, was a sham. It started out "Dear PayPal." The link contained in the email looks like it would go to a subpage within the PayPal site, but when you hold your mouse arrow over it, you quickly discover that's not the case. It goes to an IP address associated with a company in Florida . . .

We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your PayPal account
from a foreign IP address.
If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in
attempts may have been initiated by you. However, if you did not initiate
the log ins, please visit PayPal as soon as possible to verify your
identity:

Verify your identity is a security measure that will ensure that you are
the only person with access to the account.

There is a way to fight back against these thieves. Just past the Phishers URL into http://www.PhishFighting.com. It will continually submit fake entries to the Phisher.
