Do people really fall for this?

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words


I thought I'd take a screenshot of the latest phishing scam targeting eBay customers. This arrived in my email in-box over the weekend, purporting to be from Security@eBay.com, with a subject line "Update your account." Of course, it wasn't really from eBay at all. It came from builders@homer.intermerchant.com -- whoever they are. What I particularly found appalling was the inclusion of the two graphics designed to make the recipient feel secure -- the Truste graphic and the OnGuard Online. The drafter's inability to string together words into lucid sentences gives them away, as usual. See above.
