Shortbread
3 cups flour (all purpose)
3 sticks butter (must be butter - do not use margarine)(soft but not melted)
1 cup confectioner's (powdered) sugar
Preheat oven to 300 degrees (depending on oven - 325)
Mix butter and sugar in mixing bowl until fluffy. Then add flour - one cup at a time - until well combined. Press into 9x13 baking pan - using a light touch. Prick all over with a fork. Bake for 25 minutes (or until the edges are light brown in color.) Cool slightly and cut into squares or bars while still a little warm.
