Foolproof Beef Tenderloin Roast

Hellman's mayonnaise
Garlic salt
Lemon pepper

Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Coat the cold roast with mayo and sprinkle generously with seasonings. Place meat in a shallow pan, uncovered. Cooking time (not minutes per pound): 15 minutes for rare; 20 minutes for medium rare; 25 minutes for medium; 30 minutes for well-done. Turn oven off, but do not remove roast or open door for one hour. At end of hour, remove roast, slice, serve and savor.
