Clam Chowder
Fry 4 cut up slices of bacon
Add:
3 T. bacon grease
1 medium onion, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 carrots, shredded
½ red bell pepper, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
¾ tsp. pepper
4 T. flour to make a roux
Add 2 C. milk , 2 C. chicken broth a little at a time to the roux
Then add 2 cups corn and 1 17oz can creamed style corn
Cook 15-20 minutes
