Notifying the Credit Bureau when a Customer's Address Changes Answered by BOL Gurus Mary Beth Guard and Jack Holzknecht Bios
Question: Assuming the other criteria are met for reconciling an address discrepancy, do we need to notify the credit bureau when we change the customer's address after their account has been opened?
Answer: Normally such information is reported with other information reported to the CRA on a monthly basis, but there is no specific requirement to report address changes to CRAs.
