Answer: It does not appear that Section 334.82(d)(1) applies to the described scenario. Section 334.82(d)(1) requires you to confirm the accuracy of the address when you establish a continuing relationship. You already have a continuing relationship. You are not establishing a continuing relationship when you issue the card and the addition of the check card would not result in information being reported to the CRA.
