Announcing our First Most Valuable Guru
Award

FRB Consumer Compliance Handbook
The Federal Reserve released their much awaited consumer compliance exam manual in January. But this 348 page document is in 27 sections. So that BOL users don't spend time downloading and having to rename each file for simplicity and ease of location, we have combined them into one large PDF document. It is a bigger than normal file, but it will make searching so much easier with the PDF search function and everything together. Suspicious Transaction Form
BOL User, Michelle Nuckols, with Pierce Compliance Consultants, Inc. in Rockville, VA created a tool originally designed for BSA training. This Suspicious Transaction Form is intended to help your employee compile their thoughts and pass along adequate information so that a SAR may be filed accurately, and in a timely manner. This document helps the person filing the SAR to determine if there is sufficient cause for the SAR. It helps support your decision, and retained for reference, it may also influence future decisions.
Audit Sampler
When completing an audit you need to know that the sample of records reviewed was statistically sound. This Audit Sampler allows a 90% accuracy rate in your findings. You enter in only the total number of records that are subject to the audit and you'll see:
- The Sample Size - number of records needed.
- The number (count) of the first record to select.
- The interval of records necessary to reach the sample size.
Confidentiality Agreement
Are you looking to outsource work which may include the sharing of confidential customer information? You'll need a Confidentiality Agreement to protect you, the vendor and the customers. Here is a template provided by Dana Turner, of Security Education Systems. There are 14 key paragraphs to this template which you can copy, paste and customize to meet your specific requirements.
