APD investigates robbery at Asheville Savings Bank
ASHEVILLE - At about 3:15 p.m. today, Asheville police were dispatched to a reported bank robbery at the Asheville Savings Bank on S. Tunnel Road.
The suspect was described as a white female with light brown hair, wearing dark sunglasses, a white hat, a blue short-sleeved shirt and jeans.
The suspect entered the bank, passed a note demanding money, and then walked out without displaying a weapon of any kind.
Anyone with information leading to the identification of this suspect is urged to call the APD at (828) 252-1110 or CrimeStoppers at 255-5050.
