Bank Robbery Suspect Photos - Brooklyn & Groton, CT On Monday March 17, 2008, a white male subject entered the
Savings Institute at 9 Proulx St Brooklyn,Ct. and walked into the foyer.
He exited the bank for a short moment and then entered again standing by the
kiosk. A teller asked him if he needed help. He then approached the teller
and asked if she was open.The suspect then handed her a note indicating no
alarms or dye packs and demanded money. The suspect was provided cash
consisting of unbanded twenty dollar bills. The suspect then left the bank
from the main entrance on foot into the parking lot. No vehicles were seen
in this robbery.
Video surveillance from the robbery links this same suspect to a bank
robbery in Groton, Ct. on March 5, 2008 being investigated by the Groton
town Police Dept. A suspect vehicle developed in the Groton robbery is
described as a beige or tan colored Ford Taurus or similar type vehicle with
black wheels. No registration or other descriptors of the vehicle are
available.
The suspect in the Brooklyn robbery is described as a white male, 20's-30's
scruffy looking, with dark hair, glasses, wearing a plaid type shirt/jacket
and blue jeans.
