According to Detective Wesley Hawks, on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at approximately 11:50 a.m., a white male adult entered the west branch of the Rock Springs National Bank, displayed a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then walked out of the bank and walked towards Wendy’s. He may have gotten into a vehicle parked in the area. The suspect is 5'8" – 6', approximately 160 pounds, wearing a tan "boonie" style hat, a white long sleeve crew neck T-shirt, tan
cargo pants and brown tennis shoes. It now appears this same bandit may be responsible for robbing a total of nine banks in seven states.
Maybe this guy banks with your institution and maybe someone on your staff will recognize him. He doesn't look like a bank robber -- but who does these days? They come in all ages, sizes, races. As you will see in some of the pictures he has worn a few different items of clothing, but law enforcement officers believe this is the same person.
