Gibe Virus Spreading Quickly

A new mass-mailing virus, identified as Gibe.F, aka Swen, is making its way quickly across the Internet taking advantage of a previously reported flaw in Microsoft Windows software.

The virus is disguised in an email message that has been make to look as if it were an official-looking e-mail from Microsoft saying that it contains a “cumulative patch” for several Internet Explorer, Outlook and Outlook Express vulnerabilities.
