Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program
Insured institutions are required to post in their lobbies, signage indicating whether they have opted in or out of the TLGP. Signage must be in place by December 19, 2008. FDIC Insurance Increase Notice
On October 3, 2008 Congress temporarily increased deposit insurance coverage, and later extended the increase through 2013. The FDIC has given you the option to put up temporary official signs with the $250,000 coverage amount, or to place temporary stickers next to your existing $100,000 limit official signs.
