Web Application

Question: What is a "web application"?
Answer: A "web application" is the collection of data needed to open an account or apply for a loan on the financial institution’s web site. Ideally it is NOT a pdf of the institution’s current application, as these are limited in space by the blank space on the document. It definitely is NOT a pdf of the application that has to be printed, completed and mailed or brought into the financial institution. A better approach is to create the data collection screens so they appear integrated into the institution’s web pages, provide a user friendly, space agnostic application experience for the user and support a paperless account opening or lending experience for the user.
