Verifying Online Identity
Question: If I am a new customer and open an account online, how is my identity verified?
Answer: Identity is verified through a non-documentary verification method, as provided for in the USA Patriot Act. This may include independently verifying the customer's identity through the comparison of information provided by the customer with information obtained from a consumer reporting agency, public database, or other source. Compliance Note: Be sure to review, and update if necessary, your Customer Identification Policy for this type customer identification.
