NationsBank is offering free PC banking to its checking account customers, and free electronic bill-payment services to those who maintain more than $3,500 in balances.

Their customers in Texas now have home banking. Those in North and South Carolina will have it by May, and Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. will be up by the end of 1996.

NationsBank estimates that about 35% of their depositors have PCs. hey hope to have 100,000 customers on-line by the end of the year.
