Internet and Bank Security

Access to the internet is prohibited in many banks because of a concern that the internet could pose a threat to the bank's data system. Although not proven, there is concern that the internet could be a source of a virus or open the bank to computer hackers who might amuse themselves by making adjustments to deposit accounts.

There is an easy solution to these concerns. Limit internet access to a stand-alone computer that is not connected to the bank's network.
